How long have you been at Cleveland Elementary? 20 years – starting year 21 🙂

What do you love most about teaching? I love when students have their “aha moment.” Suddenly, they figure something out with your assistance and it is an amazing experience for both teacher and student.

What is your favorite thing about Cleveland Elementary? I am lucky to be able to interact with all of our amazing staff and students!

If you weren’t a teacher, what other profession would you enjoy? I would either work in hotel management or own my own bed and breakfast.

Do you have any pets? Yes- Spunky my tiny dog who thinks he is a giant (He weighs 5lbs).

What is your most favorite place you have visited? Why? I have been lucky enough to visit Dublin, Ireland with my dad, I love the castles and the history that I experience when I am there. I also love  Phoenix, AZ because of the mountains, which I love to hike!

If you could have 1 superpower, what would it be? I would be able to read my son’s mind since he isn’t talking yet and can’t tell me what he wants or needs.

How many laps did you run in the last Red Bird Hustle? How many do you think you will run in the next one? I wasn’t able to run in the last Red Bird Hustle because of my schedule but I look forward to running this year and hopefully completing 10 laps 🙂
