Grover Cleveland Elementary is a Chicago Public School located in the Irving Park neighborhood. For over 110 years Cleveland Elementary has taken special care to understand the unique needs of each of our students to help them accomplish their goals in life. Cleveland Elementary envisions educating all students to their individual potential and providing expanded opportunities for our children’s educators to enhance their teaching expertise and positive influence on our students.
Cleveland School is committed to working with parents and the community, in providing each student a research based multifaceted education in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes academic bilingualism through biliteracy, self-discipline, perseverance, and academic rigor. The Cleveland School’s mission is to prepare students to meet the challenges of society by providing equitable academic opportunities, emphasizing academic biliteracy in the core subjects, and personalize learning to enable them to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and be active members of a caring, capable and responsible global community.
Students in the Dual Language Program will be bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural exhibiting high academic achievement in the content areas in Spanish and English.

The daily practice of breathing, stretching, focusing and relaxation exercises cultivates a greater sense of self-awareness, mental focus and emotional resilience.
